Why are we building it?
The background
I've been working in DevOps since 2018. In that time, I've seen plenty of tools come along and make life easier for the people building software.
The Problem
As every company grows, it inevitably faces stricter security and compliance requirements. That often means working in more controlled environments, where getting all the scans you need up and running can get complicated.
You end up juggling multiple tools, and some make the process harder than it needs to be.
What problem are we solving?
Believe it or not, major security incidents still happen because of vulnerabilities that are already well documented and widely publicized, with fixes available.
A scan can help you understand where your code stands against the vulnerabilities we know about today.
